I recently got into an argument online. It wasn’t really an argument. It was a post about the pension triple lock.

I responded with my opinion, which included a point about the generation that ruined my country. The same generation that will now leave my generation the first to be worse off than the one that came before.

The response I got in turn was scattershot and didn’t address my points. Among the points made in this response was that the moment the cointry was really ruined was when people became “PC”.

So there we have it. The country was ruined when people stopped routinely using racial slurs, apparently?

Case closed.
