On Sundays, I like to share three things I have enjoyed in the past week. They could be anything; just stuff that has, as Marie Kondo might say, sparked joy. They also don’t have to be new or recent, so long as I’ve enjoyed them this week.
Thing 1: Ali Stoner Releases Her Cookbook, Scran
I’ve long enjoyed Ali Stoner’s video content. I love how she combines traditional Scottish food with modern cooking and innovation. I actually just love her whole vibe.
Her new book, Scran, came out on Thursday.

I ordered a copy for my sister, whose birthday is today, and will likely order some more copies for others as gifts as we head towards the festive season. It’s just a nice book from a good person, celebrating my awesome country and the food thereof.
Thing 2: This Video Right Here
I’m someone who finds comfort in repetition. I’ll watch the same thing over and over if it brings me joy, security, or other positive feels. This brings me positive feels:
I don’t care to guess how many times I’ve watched this video…
Thing 3: Dipping Back into Warhammer 40,000
I’m an Age of Sigmar man, when it comes to Warhammer. The game is just better than 40K. There’s less bloat. There’s simpler scoring. There are fewer tryhards and gatekeepers. It’s just nice. The models are better, too.
That said, 40K was my first experience of Games Workshop, and I’ve had a lot of fun with it… even if that was last experienced back in c. 2011.
Still, I’m feeling a bit enthused at the moment, so let’s dive back in, eh? I’m working on these minis at the moment:

I’m hoping that I can dive back in and have some fun with this again.
