3 Good Things Vol. 2 (17/05/26)

On Sundays, I like to share three things I have enjoyed in the past week. They could be anything; just stuff that has, as Marie Kondo might say, sparked joy. They also don’t have to be new or recent, so long as I’ve enjoyed them this week.

Thing 1: Anytime Anywhere by Milet (Frieren end credits song)

I’ve been re-watching Frieren this week as I write a review for NoRerolls and found myself completely swept away again by the ending theme, ‘Anytime Anywhere’ by milet.

Its soaring vocals and nostalgic melody perfectly echo the show’s themes of fleeting moments and the enduring warmth of the memories we carry with us.

Thing 2: The Orange, by Wendy Cope

This week, I rediscovered the quiet power of Wendy Cope’s poem, The Orange.

It’s a beautiful reminder that happiness doesn’t have to be grand; sometimes, it’s just the peace of a mundane Tuesday and loving the people you’re with.

Thing 3: Firefly Petunias

I’m really not much of a gardener, but this week I have been fascinated by the idea of Firefly Petunias.

There is something truly magical (and a little sci-fi) about the prospect of sitting in a garden at midnight and watching flowers glow with their own living, lunar light.
