Let’s get into a nice routine. On Sundays, I’m going to share three things I have enjoyed in the past week. They could be anything; just stuff that has, as Marie Kondo might say, sparked joy. They also don’t have to be new or recent, so long as I’ve enjoyed them this week.
Thing 1: Clean It Up song from Hazbin Hotel
I hadn’t watched Hazbin Hotel when someone sent me this video. They just knew I liked videos with an animated character and their voice actor side by side.
The song is catchy (and has lived in my head all week), and I like the joy that Kimiko Glenn seems to take in her work.
Perhaps I should give the show a chance?
Thing 2: The Art of Zhou Song
This week, I was captivated by the hyper-realistic world of Zhou Song, whose precision and surrealist vision turn everyday subjects into something both beautiful and thought-provoking.

His ability to blend scientific observation with artistic emotion serves as a stunning reminder of the intricate details we often overlook in the world around us.
Thing 3: Swift Bricks in Scotland
Scotland is the first country to mandate “swift bricks” in all new homes. These are small hollow bricks that provide nesting spots for swifts (a bird species in decline).

It’s a simple, elegant example of how urban design can live in harmony with wildlife.
